Free WordPress Training

If you make use of WordPress to run your website (which I highly recommend you do) I will give you up to three hours of free training and support on using this wonderful content management system.

If you are in Durban you can come and see me at my home office for a few hours, or we can schedule a Skype VOIP session. I will show you how to:

• create and edit pages for your WordPress site
• choose a theme for your site
• set up your blog (which is a very important part of getting noticed by search engines)
• install any number of WordPress plug-ins, including photo galleries, online shops, gig guides for artists, etc.
• manage the settings of your WordPress site
• optimise your site for search engines so that you appear higher in their listings
• add media such as music and video to your WordPress site

Once you are up and running with WordPress as your content management system, you’ll wonder why you ever bothered with anything else. I am personally using it on this site, as well as my photography sites, www.dallasdahms.com and www.nikongear.com.

Advanced Training

Getting to know the WordPress system with my basic training will give you all the info you need to get started. If you would like to get more stuck in with things like customising WordPress themes, adding Google Analytics or any other type of script to your site, I am available at a very reasonable rate of R100 an hour.
